This privacy notice tells you about the information we collect from you when you sign up to receive our regular newsletter or access our portal services. What personal data do we collect?
When you subscribe to our portal / newsletter, we ask you for your name, your email address, and country. In our contact from on our portal we ask you further for your telephone number, company name and Post/Zip Code to handle your request as efficient as possible. Telephone number, company name and Post/Zip Code are not mandatory.
Why do we collect this information?
We will use your information to send you our newsletter, which contains information about our products, services and company news, etc., and to answer your requests you send us via our contact form on our portal. Furthermore, your email address is also used as your username to access our European Customer Portal.
Use of MailChimp newsletter software
If you would like to receive our newsletter, we need an e-mail address and additional information that will allow us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and agree to receive the newsletter.
We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to ensure that newsletters are sent in a consistent manner. This way the potential recipient can be included in a distribution list. After the registration, the user receives a confirmation e-mail to confirm. The address is only actively included in the distribution list if the registration is confirmed.
We use this data exclusively for sending the information and offers (information about our products, services and company news, etc.).
As newsletter software we use MailChimp. MailChimp is a US-based marketing automation service provided by the Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
MailChimp is prohibited from selling your provided above mentioned data and from using it for purposes other than sending newsletters. Kerry Logistics has signed a Data-Processing-Agreement with MailChimp to ensure that all data of our newsletter subscribers are handled according to data protection laws.
How long do we keep your information for?
Your information is kept for as long as you continue to consent to receive our newsletter. When giving a company permission to store your personal data and email address and to send you marketing emails, you can revoke this consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in the email.
Your rights over your information
By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
You can also ask for it to be erased and you can ask for us to give you a copy of the information.
